this week has been a rather interesting week.. I stand in the middle of 2 cases of threatening.. taken from dictionary.com: to threaten is to be a menace or source of danger to is it me or it's just coincidental that i'm coming across 2 cases.. being me, I don't believe that threat cases should be 1 sided.. there are many causes to why people fall into threatening others.. from financial cases to screwed up relationships, people use threats to get what they want.. although I believe that there are 2 sides to a threat, I'm not one to threaten anyone.. threatening is a uncivilized way, in my opinion, to get what you want.. Threats should only work for little children because they do not understand logic much.. o well, just came across my mind that i'm one who avoid threats or threatening.. guess I can be the welfare officer I am :)

yo, remember the stupid haze a few years back? and we're facing the same problem now.. good thing, it rained yesterday and it's raining now, which means the PSI level will be dropping.. once again we have Indonesia to thank for the haze.. all the forest burning and stuff.. annoying.. the haze is so bad you can really see it right in front of you, how gross.. hopefully it'll go away soon.. it's causing so much health problems to Singaporeans..

so i woke up late on SDC book out day, OMG, thank god I'm turned out trained! hahahah, 5 mins from admin branch ran up to bunk to super fly down and viola, done ;) hahahaha, come ot think of it, it was rather fun :P

my guys are gonna graduate soon and that's cool :) i'm happy to say that no one under me has left the course yet, how awesome.. my birthday's comin soon and I can't wait! but i'm kinda sick of preparing for it already.. the stupid people have yet to get back to me on the bill.. if they don't get back to me by end Oct (like next week!), i'm not gonna be able to use my vouchers :( arggg, it can save me 50 bucks, I think they're doing it on purpose.. how annoying.. why does the world feels like it contains so many stupid people at this point?

OC 2nd Coy gets married :) and we were his Guard Of Honour.. nice.. never knew I'd have to wear no. 1 again but it was fun! It's been a blast being part of this beautiful day.. Hope to do it again? ahaha :)

I found this random carebear and the others thought i was drunk, thankfully i controled myself due to driving class this morning.. i'm into my 11th class already and I can't wait to book my test :)

yo, so it's 9 Div Sports Day today and I participated in the relays and got 2 golds back :) yay! I have had such a bad tummy week after a massive stomach failure on Monday night that caused my stomach to spin round and round.. so this week is also the week for many firsts, my first platoon, my first DO.. haha, fun.. moving from one appointment to another feels rather interesting, now i know how regulars might feel when they change their posting.. it feels ORD-ish and when you come into the new territory, you feel all fresh and new like commissioning was yesterday or something.. nice..

yay, it's off today :) had a night out with nich lee yesterday and we caught Wall Street, Money Never Sleeps.. a movie that was long, and frankly speaking not very exciting.. it's all about money and it just shows how ugly people can get when they're all caught up with earning and getting money..

it's kinda boring but still it's ok, i'm giving it a 2 out of 5..

today's book in day but will be catching this movie: The Other Guys with Gareth, and whoever he's called, hahaha, i'm a follower today :P

it's been sometime since i got full charge in terms of sleep, from saturday afternoon after the epic graduation till sunday morning.. how shiok! hahaha, ok time to get ready to head out ;D

this week's been a great week.. first of all, the tribute to Mrs Lee Kuan Yew.. Behind every successful man will always be a supportive woman and I believe that in the case of our Senior Minister.. She passed away last night and ya, i guess the time has arrived..

Saturday saw the first ever graduation parade for the BMT cohort at Marina floating platform.. and obviously the whole tekong was mobilized to be involved because of the large scale of the event.. madness.. had to be there on friday morning to settle stuff and only got to go home for a while because of stupid amarpal (some idiot) and got back to the area at about 1am on sat after having nasi lemak with dad.. so the whole thing went fine considering it was the first time.. i think the AAR will be like super long should the next cohort have the same thing, hopefully it'll be a better one cause i'll be part of it :) it made everyone so tired that i just slept when i got home and till now, i just woke up :) haha, nice..

the week has been a busy week rushing to get things done for different reasons but after this week, many thing's been settled.. so yippie.. went to Changi Village again this week and had the great food there and on our way back we (my HQ gang) actually played the playground, hahahaa, what idiots, it's done in the night so no one can see :P.. what's on my mind now is how i can make my birthday party a really great one!

7th November 2010 11oohrs at Temasek Club. It's gonna be awesome! So the theme is garden, not that i'm expecting people to be dressed like flowers or snails but more so I can decorate the place.. I want this to be a great party! Wan wen's flying back for this and that's freaking awesome! she was the one that gave the idea for garden so thanks babe!

tomorrow's a day off and it'll be great time to think through my plans for the day itself.. still have so many things to settle.. with that, choos ;)

YI, new Amazing Race (Asia and Original) just began and being me, I can't wait to catch every episode and even take part in the future.. Survivor also just began a new episode but like every other seasons, the fun part only kicks in after about 6-7 people have been voted off.. still, i'm seriously a reality show junkie..haha, gonna catch the encore for amazing race soon :D

ok.. just got back from my 8th driving lesson and kinda feeling angst tonight.. i wonder why? must be the lack of sleep.. had Army Half Marathon last Sunday but didn't blog bout it cause I was too tired.. but still, it was one of the casual 21km for me.. i was totally fine after the run.. only needed a couple of hrs to recover.. still, i hate such long runs.. annoyingly far and long, it's always never ending..

I went back to OCS along this wk and met Timothy and Dickson and had an awesome chat.. tomorrow's their commissioning and I bet they must have had waited for this for sometime already.. gonna be there to catch their parade and time to relive that moment! :D

omg.. just woke up from a scary nightmare.. i wonder why i keep getting such weird dreams.. so here goes:

I was some how with mum and elena(maid at home) and also Thea (my youngest sister).. so we ended up at some atast place that had a lot of people that was the end line of the AHM... so then i thought hey i needed to run too.. so i left towards the start line.. then realise that i forgot to bring my number tag or number chip.. then i panicked.. but no one around me seemed to care.. i told mum, she doesn't even respond.. then out of no where, Wong Lee Hom the singer appeared at a distance.. he was entering a car with 2 ladies.. i turn around and then my dad's youngest cousin appeared and my mum and elena passed her 2 big bags of bedsheets and stuff.. and then i woke up startled..

F**k.. what the hell was that.. i had a lion dream and now this i-forgot-something dream... crazy shit..

o whatever, i have been thinking about the venue to my 21st birthday and i think i'll choose temesek club :) nice place with so many things to do.. was caught between bottle tree park lake house VS temesek club + after burner.. I think temesek club seemed nicer.. it's in a more centralized area also.. now to confirm everythingy before sending out my invites.. it's gonna be great :) and i have to stop dreaming.. gonna be having lunch with B2 clique later.. time to get back to BED..

lions dream

Selamat Hari Raya for all my friends tomorrow ;) It's thursday and it fills like a friday, nice ;) there's AHM on sunday also.. damn.. ok anyway, i awoke this morning to a rather interesting dream.. My Dream:

I was in Myanmar, Mum was there on a biz trip, and my sisters and myself were at some wildlife park.. then all the wild lions went crazy and started attacking visitors.. eating some of the small children.. there was chaos everywhere and there was this tower.. i went up the tower to aviod the lions but it was no use as the lions chased everyone to attack and eat.. omg.. i finally found a lady police officer who helped rescue me from the danger area and i was reunited with my sisters and mum.. i kinda suspect that the dream meant something so i googled it.. guess what i found -

hello, some monkeys are terrorizing our little kampong.. ok fine, not kampong but there are some monkeys causing some problems.. bet it's gonna get worse and then we'll end up in the news. yay! 1 for Lorong Pisang ;D i'm in the midst of creating my new blog.. I just wanna link it to my new email and ya, i just feel that i need a change.. hope to get it up soon..

this wk has been a mile stone wk as i navigate through the life and times of an AO.. i'm beginning to appreciate my work much better and frankly kinda gonna miss this kinda life.. and now i've created another path for myself.. hopefully thing will work out.. dad's back from the US and bought home this really ugly shirt for me, not complaining since he seldom buys such stuff for us :P hahaha.. ran a freaking 16km after 6 months of office work, my knees are killing me now, damn.. choos!

After so much hype, how can I not blog about the much crazed about YOG.. ok, so it's not the Olympics but for the younger generation it probably means alot.. Singapore hosting the event is really great! It used to be: 'Let's go there for the games, now it is, let's stay for the games' cool :) so the only game that I got to go was the 5th and 6th placing soccer game between the ladies of Trinidad and Tobago VS Papua New Guinea.. Surprisingly, the game was much better then expected.. I was so surprised how determined the girls were with the sport.. I didn't expect what I saw because what I expected was lousy soccer with the girls being afraid of the ball and stuff like that, but nope, they proved to me that the future of sports will prosper.. interesting.. YOG has been great :) well done to the volunteers, the coaches and also the Athletes.. Watching that soccer game really brought back memories to me.. about the days when I used to stand on the racetrack looking up at the crowd............. should i go back to sports again?

yo babies, i'm back ;) ok i've been back since tuesday but i had to book in so i didn't had the time to blog.. so check out the photos!!! it's been such a refreshing trip.. I have always loved travelling and this trip just fueled the love.. This short trip was mainly for wanwen's 21st birthday.. it was themed Hollywood so we have to go as someone from hollywood, so I went as harry potter.. hhahahaha, i know i look funny, but it was fun! Costume parties are so fun :D This trip also gave me a chance to visit Aunt Margaret and Uncle James in Perth.. damn cool!! arhh, if only i could have stayed longer.. o well, take a look at the photos, it's been a great great trip.. hope to make another trip somewhere soon again.. ok nuff said, just check out the photos :) cheers!

so remember how hard it was to get all my visa and ticket and passport settled before travelling.. yay it's freaking done and i'm flying off tomorrow.. yeah baby! Aussie-tralia here I come :) sadly i'm gonna miss the opportunity to go YOG.. so many chances to go help and stuff yet i'm always always busy.. damn.. o well, in life you make choices and you live by it.. no worries.. experiences can be gained anywhere ;) woo hoo! byebye, see you when i get back.. damn excited..

i just realized something and I've been wanting to blog about it.. why is the army getting softer nowadays?? or are parents getting too irritating to handle? We have to release 'drama' shows on youtube to ease enxiety, we have to conduct roadshows/talks to parents to show them about the army.. why do we have to reassure parents so much? is the system getting too much pampered ppl?

The army/NS is all about growing up, about giving your sons and children the chance to finally experience first hand the true meaning of growing up.. to give them the chance to learn for themselves that daddy and mummy will not always be there.. I was blur before NS, so were my parents, being the only son.. but my mum or dad didn't cling on me.. they trusted the system so why shouldn't the many others? thousands have been through the system so why??? Personally, from my point of view, sure we have to be responsible and accountable to parents for their new blur sons that come into the army, but still I really believe that these sons should also tell their parents that, 'Hey, it's my time, it's my chance to grow and learn already, mummy and daddy i'll be fine'..Don't parents realize that, yoo hoo, we're the army yo, not a childcare centre.. I really don't understand why we're always trying to please parents.. I understand the part where we have to protect them but I don't understand why we're made to respond to their whining and crying over nothing that has even happen to their sons yet.. damn.. ok post done.. yay, said my piece.. time to fly.. woosh!

So today, Singapore turns 45.. We've gotten stronger in GDP growth from last year's mess according to PM's message.. So this yr, National Day feels a little different because I'm in the army.. the fact that I am playing a part in our nations' progress makes me feel that today is a day that we can relax, have fun.. it's like a well deserved rest kinda feeling.. nice.. to my comrades in camp due to the adjustment week, HAPPY NATIONAL DAY :D

sharing session 2: MI-kids these days

Hello, i'm outta camp today for a special reason.. Had to go back to MI for a sharing session with the students about NS.. This si my 2nd sharing session to mass audience of students, first time being in Tekong itself.. I was appalled at the weird questions they dared to ask.. Questions like : 'What if diplomacy and good relationships between countries don't last, won't we be doomed?' and another 'Why can't NS be voluntary?' OMG. Questions I clearly wasn't expecting.. Thankfully I had LTC Razali, no idea who he is but he was the senior officer there for that session.. I only answered the noobie questions like 'Is the food in Army nice?' and 'How do you get selected for OCS?'.. O well, bottom line, WEIRD and it felt rather scary on stage in a sense that I was afraid I would say the wrong things hahaha .. Kids these days, or is it Kids in MI these days?

Going back to MI was rather interesting.. It's a blast from the past.. The first thing I did was to go to General Office and from there The senior officer and Myself were kinda 'looked after' by VP and OM. Principal Mr Tan came once in a while to speak to us.. simply sitting in a spot exposed myself to so many teachers that recognized me.. haha, a little funny to be in uniform and seeing them but ya it went well.. The whole process made me feel like I was some big shot.. Entering the MPH, and already all the students were ready just waiting for us to start.. cool..

Today's been a rather disturbing yet interesting day.. NS really brings you to places and you do things that you will probably never get to do again.. O well, my next sharing session is in a few weeks time to another group of JC students.. hopefully, I won't feel so awkward anymore :D

This week has been a rather busy week.. tsk tsk.. but thank god i'm still alive.. i'm perpetually tired this week somehow but was still able to go for my 3rd driving lesson yesterday :)

Was walking Taisho yesterday and bumped into this really little girl who speaks in a very smart kinda tone.. She ran towards us and I was afraid Taisho would jump on her or something.. Instead, she started playing with Taisho, petting him and placing her little face beside his face.. they were having so much fun.. I was appalled! Taisho allowed her to play with him and they looked happy together.. The girl's love for dogs as she described to me was something so natural as if she's a mutant with the ability to connect with dogs or something.. it was a nice warm moment.. Amazingness..

I'm still watching X-Men the original cartoon about to catch the last episode of season 3. Just got back from ICS to try and renew my passport only to find out that I need to make a new one.. I'm slated to go to Perth for Wanwen's 21st Hollywood Birthday :) Situation, the application not sure if it'll get through.. If it's not through, then I can't buy my plane ticket yet.. damn.. hopefully, it will be very quick :X

Last week had to rush over to Gareth's to spend the night before booking in on Monday morning.. Sunday was awesome :)

afternoon was a day soccer-ing @ the cage, clearly because was playing (surprise surprise, Conan plays soccer), didn't get much pic there. The night was a great night where Bravo united! Spent at Vivo, Marche.

Miss these guys yo! hahaha. great day, great night, awesome, can't wait for bravo to unite again.

Tonight was a night out with dearest mummy and my youngest sis and our house keeper.. So because I saw that Bossini was having a Marvel sales, we went there and BAM, spent like $300 bucks worth! madness.. Mum just went nuts and took like everything.. hahahaha.. but we had a great night out..

Just came home from my very first ever driving practical lesson! hahahaha.. so fun.. thankfully the instructor was a nice guy and he taught me patiently.. I think i did pretty well for my first lesson.. I didn't panic or whatever.. but i definitely still need more practice.. i drove like a tortoise today like forever at gear 1.. hahaha.. but it was fun.. hopefully i'll get it soon ;)

so booking in on a Monday morning was awesome! It totally feels like the week isn't gonna be as long and somehow I felt really refreshed.. I think i'm definitely gonna book in on Monday morning instead.. only problem, it's kinda far and cab fare often amounts to quite a huge sum.. poor me.. so this week I finally had a movie night with the HQ peeps..

Despicable Me was a totally cute movie.. there was so much cuteness in the show.. for most who has seen the trailer will surely remember the part where Agnes (the youngest girl) hitting her cheeks making plok plok plok noises asking if it's annoying.. damn cute!! other memorable were the phases by Agnes: 'It's so fluffy i'm gonna die! ' and Gru (the main character)'s ' Light bulb!'

The minions (the little yellow creatures) were also damn cute, squeaking and squabbling like little kids.. hilarious.. Totally overdosed with the movie cuteness, i'm giving it a 4 out of 5 :) it's funny and it gives the heart a fuzzy feeling.. a great movie for the family.. Go catch it ;)

World Cup fever has struck so long ago and I've not once blogged about it, shame on me.. This world cup has been a rather scandal free kinda 'no hoo haa' world cup.. not that it's a bad thing.. some highlights this year was seeing France and Italy crash out early.. In the round of 16 had to see S. Korea and Japan leave, I always had something for the Asian nations except N.Korea.. We always watch N Korea thinking that they're interesting and all, but seriously, most of us are only watching them because we're somehow intrigued since they don't really leave their nation much.. the nations politics has somehow or rather affected them sports scene in this sense.. People are fascinated of N Korea not because of their Soccer but more because they're fascinated at N Korea being themselves there (out of their nation)..

Waka waka, 2010 is coming to an end.. I have been following as per previous years but have not been successfully following too closely because I'm still an army boy :( O well, had a great day at IKEA today :D however, I spent 1 hour waiting for a taxi at Lunchtime and not a single one appeared, tsk tsk tsk, I was so disappointed at our transport system immediately.. such a shame, no wonder we never rank that great for transport.. taxis cannot be found!!!!!!

thankfully, a great day at IKEA managed to make me feel happier by the end of the day :) I splurged so much things such as a new lamp, new book rack, new chair, new clock, new magnetic board, and many little stuff, I LOVE IKEA! :D what a great day once again, thanks caryn!

argggggggggg.. I'm on an addiction for Glee now.. Glee is fun, it's somehow nice to watch.. ok that's not the point of this post..

I'm tired of my life.. the whole 'going into tekong' every week is driving me crazy.. somehow, i'm regretting so much that I should have opted to go elsewhere instead of Tekong after commissioning.. now i'm really really hating my choice.. I feel so bored and lonely and it seems that i'm just waiting for ORD.. and i'm not that kind who just wait for time to come yet that's what I'm doing..

on my way to camp now with my dad driving along PIE bedok i think.. since the test of blogging from phone worked the last time, and i didn't blog this week, i'll do it now :) so i fell ill on wednesday evening after my stupid DoO.. started havin a bad cough/throat and fever came. still we had a first ever hq cohesion at pasir ris with our new TO and i endured through all the discomfort at the buffet :( reported sick on thursday and went home and started dying since then.. 39.4 was the temp and i got a shock.. i was so hot i felt dizzy the whole time. no amount of sleep seemed to help.. and by surdday morning, i was certain i was gonna get brain damage from such a prolonged fever.. and i was actually kind expecting some ambulance to pick to the hospital :) but damn it, mum being mum took care of me and forced me to eat and drink and whatever until today morn when i feel a lot better :D I still feel a little dizzy thou (maybe i really got brain damage) and coughing like a dog.. o look, i'm at SFT ,B that was how i spent my sick weekend.. haha :)

The night was spent celebrating Charline's birthday at her place :) her birthday isn't today but it's an advanced celebration cum farewell because she's going away to Switzerland for a year or maybe half a year. i'm jealous of the Switzerland part! It's been sometime since I met my secondary school friends but here we are for Charline's birthday :D

It's always nice to meet everybody once in a long while. My most fond memories spent with Charline is from the times we spent planning the orientation camp as the main committee together and also going to Japan together. hahaha, what fun we had! Happy Birthday beautiful ;D

PC Rendezvous, decade reunion. So there was this PC reunite kinda mega party held at SAFTI yesterday. Going back to OCS with my section mates really made me felt good again. Standing at the spot I once use to stand while waiting for mum/dad to pick me for book outs. LOL. Going back to the gift shop to fund auntie Cynthia, and even going back to wing line. My OCS journey will definitely stay with me for the rest of my life. The days were really really great. Though tough, it shaped me.

So at this so called reunion, (I deemed it a failure because many didn't turn up) Alfred's gf was performing and it was actually the first time that I've truly listened to her sing. She's good yo! The event was great because I got to catch up with some yet boring because there was a lack of participation. But I had fun, sadly, I went straight from the east to the west so didn't had my cammy with me, so no pictures :)

Today has been a quiet afternoon, thankfully and I created yet another of my random mixes and got this drink :) i mixed the mango yogurt drink with some random jelly (i think it's ribena flavor).. It's an awesome drink for today's 32 degrees weather :) and my freaking discovery magazine which didn't came last month as well isn't here also. I think something went wrong somewhere. grrrr..

YIPPIE :) was busy last week so didn't get a chance to address :) i'm blogging with my new laptop which i shall name Bambi. hahaha.. The name just struck me.. so anyway, last week was awesome! we 'll start with saturday:

Went shopping with Caryn and had a great lunch at Pariss at Marina.. I was watching Buffetlicious and attempted to find the places they were introducing but can't seem to find.. so ended up at Pariss.. So the review goes, it's not too bad as most reviews i have heard from.. They serve fresh oysters which i loved so much :P and there's the interesting crab in pumpkin sauce, which was later replaced by chilli crab which I also had yesterday hahaha.. the crabs were good as well.. the not so nice parts were probably the sushi because it didn't tasted nice at all frankly speaking, only the salmon sashimi was ok.. We have this little idea that we're gonna set up a food review blog, hahaha, but not so soon i guess.. I forgot to bring my camera on that day so no photos sadly..

so after buffet, headed down to bugis and stuff and being the Marvel fan that I am brought myself a Venom! OMG freaking cool :) I was choosing between a venom or a black spiderman but I decided on the venom because it had cool muscles and it looked wicked :)

it's gonna go well with my little storm figurine :)

After a fun Saturday, mum and myself headed back to the marina area for the PC show and got ourselves a laptop each:) great day yo! that was pretty much it, .. the week has been a nice week, I'm feeling very much in place as the AO now, so choos!

o ya, Ming Feng and Jun Khiang will be commissioning today :) hurry! congrats guys! it's been a long and tough journey, i'm very sure but you've made it ;)

WAKA WAKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WORLD CUP 2010 has officially kicked off, boy am I excited :D The opening match was a good match held up by South African team against a strong Mexico team.. Then france didn't win Uraguay!! FRANCE OMG!!! ok so world cup fever has begun and I guess everyone's watching it or whatever, too bad I'm not able to watch all matches since i'm not that free, I'm hoping to catch an exciting quarter finals :) and just a few hours ago, south koreans did a good job and won with a 2-0! woo hoo! go asia!

the world cup started and so did the PC show 2010.. gotta decide what to get this time.. last show got a cam, wonder what to get for this.. mum wants to get a notebook, i'm considering.. hmmmmmm..

my school 4 has started and life has not less hectic, but nonetheless busy.. o well.. i'm thinking if i should go for next week's comms parade to see the next batch of officers.. it'sgonna bring back sooooo much memories :D

BAM!! and we have school 4 ;) BMTC School 4 has officially been opened/inaugurated.. and I've put in so much hours and hard work to setting up of this school.. omg, I can already see myself coming back to tekong during my son's enlistment in the future and I'll visit school 4 and tell the people there, I was the here first :P setting up is not easy but we're here! woo hoo.. our sang nila utama batch is comin soon and I can't wait.. Time to set up SOP etc for the school..

So I got home only yesterday and found my HTC on my desk.. finally I have a new phone to bring to camp :D so happy yo!

this weekend's a short one due to the eblistment yesterday, but o well, I am a NSF..

This week saw the crowning of American Idol 2010: Lee!

I've not followed much for this idol series, but I've followed close enough to support another contestant called Siobhan Magnus.. She's freaking good! Then there's Lacy Brown who looks so damn hot.. o man, why didn't either of them won.. O well, Lee's not too bad, hopefully he'll give the music scene something good soon..

The final 2 at the results show was however, over shadowed with the farewell of our favourtie idol judge, Simon Cowell!

So he'ss leaving the show and ya, it's been many seasons and it's time, i guess, that makes Randy the longest judge on the panal.. Previous winners, Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks, Taylor Hicks ,Kris Allen (missing David Cook) and many other previous finalists such as David Archuleta, Brook White were there to perform.. Another mind blowing performance was that of Janet Jackson, freaking cool! There was also many old people which I don't really recognise but ya, they were kinda cool i guess.. The farewell, was awesome and ya, BYE SIMON!

It's winners week also because of the crowning of Miss Singapore.. Ya ya, I know it's a boring thing now, but let's face it, we definately need a Miss Singapore to represent us annually at Miss Universe (which I love watching :P) Miss Singapore was something to always look out for in the past, I remember when I was younger, I would watch it at home on a Saturday night and we would always made comments about the contestants, hahaha, such fun..

So winners week is about to end :) wonder when I'll feel like a winner once again, I've not achieved anything in a while, besides commissioning ie survive OCS (IT IS A BIG THING).. Need to achieve something soon, maybe that's why I've been feeling different ever since getting posted out from OCS.. hmmmm...

ah choo.. so i'm down with flu since I woke up on Vesek Day 2010..How nice.. So today has been a boring day, it's probably gonna be a boring weekend, i'm feeling lazy anyway.. Was suppose to be out with Shali but this stupid running nose is giving me such a headache.. I'm watching Shrek 2 now, it brings back memories to the sec 1 days where we watched shrek during lesson time and we were tested on it.. hahaha, freaking fun lit lessons we once had..

this week has been the best week in terms of moving to school 4, finally there's physical progress and yup, quecky quecky!

There's some Oil spill thingy going on right now in Singapore, after what happened in the US, this Oil spill thingy is a minature version of it.. it kinda affected the east area i think.. o well, it was a freak accident, nobody did it on purpose i'm sure, or else that guy will get raped ten million times..

went down to cck to meet my hairstylist finally, after ever since enlisting into the army.. my hair has been totally ruined ever since.. So finally, i went back to get a haircut, and hoefully, she'll get it back into proper shape soon :) tomorrow's gonna be injection day for taisho, so chao!

It's sunday, how awesome, it just means that i'm going back to camp again.. not that it sucks but it's just that I really hate it when people start thinking that I've got such a slack job and i'm slacking my life away.. it's not that easy!!!!!!!!!! I'm still dreaming that my BB will fall from the sky but i've still gotta wait, arg..

Came online and saw that Singapore is finally at the top for the most competitive economy.. Wonder if more investors will come to Singapore because of that? They better, then as consumers we can benefit.. looks like I've not forgotten my econs :D

On friday, Chansey celebrated her magical 21st :) and there was a big party, with many many people.. It's been 4 years since we first met and my MI journey has been amazing partially thanks to her.. She thought me how to play volleyball, challenged me in academics and pushed me ahead and we even had so much fun in sports council.. Thanks loads babe!

Till then, hope that all my hard work will be put to great results..

So the day began with me finally meeting Jenson to pass him, the haunting volleyball to give back to bravo wing.. While we were still cadets, a volleyball from the store actually got flushed away during one of our nights out game and because it was signed out under my name, some dude called me last week and asked for a ball! OMG.. had to replace, it was biting my conscience..

so thereafter, met Vanessa after a very long time of not meeting her and she showed me her business.. the thing is, I'm not ready to join a business yet and I'm pretty sure that I'm happy of my life right here right now.. I don't have the means/courage to take a leap into the corporate world just yet.. it sucks know in that the actual world out there is going to be fierce and totally real, but o man.. I'm just not ready and I still want to enjoy my youth as it is.. stepping into a business now is really not the time, I've got no mean to do it yet.. not yet, I'm sorry Vanessa (and wen loong for that matter) :(

anyway, then spent the night at a cousin's place, with the Little ones.. I love hanging around this little kiddos.. it makes me feel so happy.. it always reminds me of myself when I was much younger.. furthermore, when I see grandma looking at them with those 'granny eyes', i can tell so many stories from them.. I love my grandma :D the rest of the night was spent hanging around with Calvin eating froggy porridge and then to his palce to chill.. he just fetched me back so here I am.. I'm just feelin a little troubled about what just happened today due to the Vannessa thingy.. I know I"m not being specific here, but I don't think I should.. It shall be that way.. I like life the way it is now, and it shall stay like that for now.. thanks and sorry! :S

Dr Goh just passed away this morning.. I didn't knew who he was until now.. So he was one the first few to impliment NS.. He's one of our founding fathers and he's done a lot for this nation.. RIP DR GOH :)

This week has been groundbreaking (to me at least).. things are moving and people are moving, it feels good.. we're finally advancing in the correct direction.. it's really been tough ;)

nothing much happened this week, just that school 4 is opening soon and i've been busy.. I'm missing the times I've had when I was a cadet.. life has been harder but still it's been great.. With greater power comes greater expectations and greater responsibility - the higher you climb, the thinner the air.. nonetheless, the air's cooler, nicer and more refreshing :P

I'm waiting for Shrek to be realeased soon :D and this week I've not fulfilled my Movie requirement.. Nevermind, I can always replace next time.. hahah..

so the story was great and i'm definately giving it like 5/5.. furthermore, the little snippet at the end of the show after the credits just blew my mind.. i'm waiting for the next movie marvel's giving.. it's gonna be awesome! I'm saying it could be the best movie of the year ;) I think there should be more action from Black widow thou and the baddie died so quickly.. ok i'm adjusting my rating, 4.5/5 :P

Besides movie of the week, it's also the high week this week because my work goes full swing and i'm always busy.. being AO and ATO ain't easy.. we've to deal with so many ppl and our efforts are always overlooked.. o well.. this is when my mind comes in, i must always remember that: It doesn't really matter who sees how much you do or what you do, what matters most is that you know that you've done it for you.. because ultimately, does it really matter if anyone feels anything for you and you don't feel anything for yourself?

ok shit that ' it' moment.. so i've received like 6 magazines in my post this week.. Discovery, Readers' Digest, Pioneer, Newsweek, some Temesek club mag and another army magazine.. OMG, seriously how much can I read? hahahaah.. it's funny just arriving at home, going into my room and seeing so many magazines piled on my desk.. ever since commissioning, I've always been receiving letters and stuff on my desk everytime I reach home, it makes my feel old : S

the start of everything is always not easy, and similarly, sch4's atart up isn't easy as well.. but never the less, only a few can safely say that they've been involved in the setting up of a sch.. yay me! I'm gonna do my best and make sure everything will progress smoothly and ensure the smooth operation in the days to come :) it's kinda stressful, but I'm trying to keep it cool so I'll not get an outbreak hahahaah :S

So yesterday was kinda like my first 'cohesion' and we watched Ip Man 2 which happens to be the Mooo-vie of the week as well..

So it's a continuation from Ip man (which I didn't catch) but it's a different story altogether so it's ok if you didn't catch part 1.. The story goes early 1950s (if i remember right) and how the westerners came settling into HK and the show featured the westerners making a mockery of the HK people.. So the kong-fu masters were pissed off and the movie goes on to show how Ip man dealing with the situation..

I don't know If the story is actually a true event, but it came as a surprise to me that Ip man is actually a true person that coached Bruce Lee.. hahaa, and I thought it was all friction! Alright, not too bad, I'll give the movie 3.5 out of 5..

Well, a HK friend's in town, probably gotta meet him tonight or something.. till next week ;)

Maybe I should come up with a wishlist too :P Have been seeing lots of violence in the new over at Thailand as the days go by.. and then there's the ashes issue over in Europe.. All this unrest seem to point that the 2012 thingy may be true? haha, ok just saying ;) It's been boring and I'm trying to make it less for me.. Just think, what would Conan do? WWCD?

OK, this week we caught the movie Shutter Island starring Leonado DeCaprio.. It wasn't exactly my choice to watch the movie but it was the movie of the week anyway.. ok, so the story goes where this police dude goes onto an island and discovers creepy things within.. so ya, that's basically it.. I don't wanna spoilt the story for anyone here.. It's an interesting, intriguing and 'out of the box' kinda movie.. just makes you wonder , ponder and think and really think again..

I love the little line that's on some of it's promo posters: Some one's missing - at the end of the story, you'll truly find out that the lead character is the actual one that's missing.. interesting.. it'll lead you into thinking if you're insane as well.. so go catch it people, I'm giving it 4 out of 5.. There's too much unnecessary suspense though.. and I'm not a fan of suspense..

It's been 3 weeks since we commissioned and my course is over (soon anyway) and I now have a new post/job that I don't really want but have to take it anyway :( like what they say, the higher you climb the lonelier it gets.. o well :S Never expected to go so far and then come to a job that will be totally new to me.. arg! Totally no link to what I've been learning this past 9 months.. damn it, sometimes we make stupid decisions that we kinda regret there after, but (no no) I'm not gonna do that, I'll enjoy the pros ;)Yesterday's initiation was madness, I died.. Rescued by my friends.. omg.. embarassing, unavoidable and totally brainwashed.. hahaha.. what an experience..

Just came back from running some errands and bumped into Ms Gaynor Teh.. and saw the news of some volcano eruptions in Iceland or something which is causing a lot of problems in terms of air traffic and stuff.. Found some pictures online as well.. What mother nature can give is actually quite beautiful..

Also this week, we caught the movie Kick-Ass

FYI it's kick ass! Super awesome show, really interesting unlike your normal hero-villian kinda show.. Kickass will narrate the entire story and all, personally, my favourite is Hit Girl, this little girl with purple hair and super combat skills and stuff.. Awesome! 4/5 definately ;D catch it!

Comms ball, the closure

So yesterday is definately gonna be a memorable night for a fact that I ended up dead and wasted in the streets of town.. let's try to remember..

so the day starts with me spending my afternoon at Shangri-la setting up for comms ball.. how great, the little problems here and there caused me a scare and by the time i changed it was a just in time thing, phew.. thankfully, we've got a great committee :) shaam, hector,philip,glendon,brandon,jacob,warrick,shafiq and derrick :) thanks so much! and also the junior cadets who were there to receive sai kang! hahahaa, great job ;)

so comms ball was awesome (obviously since i'm part of the committee), tons of photos on fb, together with videos of mark dave's strip tease and vishnu's MTV, omg, what a night! the food was so awesome, especially the dessert (how i wish i could have more).. the dates were awesome,and i bough chansey along as my date :) thanks babe!

then came post prom, the 'pain' of the night.. so for those who still don't know, i've NEVER been to a club and post prom was at supper club.. OMG, what a night.. there were many trannies! i'm shocked.. anyway, drank too much and puked like ten thousand times and half the time I was dead not knowing what the hell was going on.. omg, like what aunty lucy will say: 'SO EMBARASSING!' O, we were at supper club and it was pack, d'oh, but still, it was an experience, hope to do it again! after getting wasted entirely, i'm gonna be more cautious, i promise :X o ya, the whole night was spent getting drunk and crazy with Lanz,Chansey and Yunxing! woo hoo :) and thanks to them for looking after me, especially lanz and chansey :S

tomorrow's my 'first day of work' after commissioning so let's hope it's gonna be a blast!

Woo hoo! finally the day has arrive and we've commissioined :) ok i'm a wee lacky since d-day was on saturday but i'm only blogging now..i'm only blogging now because it's been a litle busy since saturday.. kinda sick right now so i've finally had the time to come online while 'resting'..

anyway, COMMISSION LOH!!! so awesome, so great, so fabulous, so fantastic :D i've got tons of photos on fb so anyone who wants to see it feel free :) the parade was awesome even though there were hiccups.. the last days of OCS have been really fun.. crazy works and mad events, it's been awesome :) i'm being posted elsewhere so we'll see what the future brings.. hopefully, it'll be fun..

sunday was a day at swift meet to catch the reactiv ppl run and this included alfred running after like 3 years.. hahha, great job.. it was also thea's birthday so yup.. a little party once again.. I realise my house has like numeous parties within a year.. wierd..

then there's monday where we had to go back to OCS to close our term and for some it was to report to their new units etc.. for me it's a slck time all till next week :) how awesome!!!unemployment is good :D

and finally yesterday has been a great free cone day and to the zoo we went :D hahahaha.. I know it sounds wierd that a gang of guys heading to the zoo on a weekday but it was nice! free cone day was great to, totally coincidental and I ended up having like 3 flavours.. ok there're photos up on fb as well.. and with that i'll go upload the photos now.. choos ;D

Oh me oh my.. it's finally here.. one more week to commissioning! With the final week up ahead, I must say it's been a tough 9 months.. But nevertheless we've made it and it's gonna be a new and fun experience up ahead :D

OMG, it's march! it's freaking march.. this means commissioning is coming!! woo hoo! I've been bust and booking out only on saturdays recently, been heading out so often such that I don't have the time to stop and blog.. but today's a little different, i've decided to 'chill' at home till book in later hahaha.. I'm just finding time to update on malarkey land..

Caryn's 21st! One of my best friend turns 21 last week and it just reminds me of how old I'm getting.. damn! HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D

It's been a week since CNY started and it's been awesome.. Visiting around as usual.. but life's been a wee bit boring and people seem to have became more distant now.. o man.. army is really taking away my social life.. it sucks.. caught Valentines' Day the movie last week and it was a great show.. I'll rate it 4/5.. it's a romance comedy show about love and all.. visitors will be coming over again today and i've to book in again today.. commissioning is coming CAN'T WAIT ! I have no freaking plans for this holidays because of the 2 weeks in camp.. My Grandaunt just left us to another world just last week and it's been an experience attending my first funeral..

Hi all, I'm not suppose to be out but Grandaunt just passed away hence i'm allowed to book out for a day.. It always sucks to know that life is short and we should just make the best out of it.. anyway, i've been in camp since a week ago, should not be out till CNY eve.. last week was a lost week, when I was literally lost looking for zhixing's new house and Beach road.. I'm new to this places so I eneded up walking around simply hoping to find them and I did! what wonders the roads of Singapore can bring.. Time to head back to the funeral for her 'final journey'.. Booked out yesterday and have been rather busy since.. Claudia's 21st is today but the party was yesterday and it was held at the naked fish shoppe at yio chu kang, it's cool.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAUDIA!!!!!!!! Then headed to AMK with the 'ex b2 gang' and played left for dead which was fun! and then headed to esplanade to meet haoxun,bronson,jiawei and teckchai.. it's been some time dudes! hahaha.. didn't knew of a place called ORGO at the top of esplanade.. it's sunday and i'm heading to the zoo for a family outing like soon.. and freaking book in at night.. damn, book outs are always so precious.. till then ;)

the past 3 days has been great.. i had lots of fun.. went ot the IT fair at EXPO with Sean, not Suntec and i only found out when i arrived at Suntec.. damn it.. hahaha.. but it was alright.. wanted to get a new camera but didn't.. i think i'm gonna get a itouch first.. but we'll see how.. yesterday was also a blast.. in the morning had time to play my DS, o ya, I think I've never mentioned but I got a DS about a month ago.. have been playing it since then.. and then went to meet my platoon mates and had a n awesome night at KUSHINBO! woo hoo! I can never get sick of that place.. it's always so good.. expecially the crabs.. can never get enough of 'em! then movie:

A freakishly bloody movie with blood like every five mintues.. kinda retarded.. the effects were cool and all but there's just too much blood everywhere.. and the plot was just so predictable when you've grasp the story.. Not very interesting and i'm not gonna recommend it..

Night time was a rush back home to help settle Kendra's secondary school application, yes she's entering secondary.. and then over to Marc's place for a night of chillin with Shannon, Trinity and Mark Dave..

JCC UPON MY CHEST.. woo hoo! finally i'm back! and it feels awesome ;) the trip to brunei has been a really tough and crazy one so let me do a little break down on how things went..

DAY1:Departure
Not so funny when you're the Cadet IC of the lagguages and also a Packet Cadet IC.. hahahaa.. call it misfortune but yes I had to get busy once we were at the airport.. The good thing, I got to work with the nicer superiors rather then the ugly ones..

INFANTRY PHASE:
TRAIN CHOING BOOM what more can I say..

BIRTHDAY (13-11-2009) aka friday the 13th: EX CHINDIT

So I woke up in the middle of the jungle to birthday greetings from everyone (thanks!) and had to prepare for a mission.. So once again, luck or misfortune got me into some shit, because I was made freaking sec comm the night before and therefore have to be the first man into the river to secure the crossing rope for the company.. then had to be the receiver which means that I was in the river for 41 mins (that's our time and it's fantastic!).. movement thereafter and guess what, HORNET ATTACK!!! OMG, that was the scariest shit.. because our platoon was the rear platoon, the message we received was like: 'BEES BEES BEES!' from the front.. I was in shock because everyone had to freaking turn around and with an entire soaked FBO run in the opposite direction.. never have I ran so fast with FBO ever hahahahahaah.. MY god.. in the end, some were stung but it wasn't very bad.. thank god.. had our final attack on our objective and ENDEX! woo hoo! I love the sound of ENDEX :) back to base camp and had an awesome tomyam dinner! and the guys gaev a surprise birthday song when we were in the mosquito nest training shed.. hahaha.. definitely a birthday to remember :D

JCC
so begins our jungle confidence course, basically 9 days of group/solo survival given only a jungle, 2 days worth of food, a live quail and a banana.. comprising of 4 exercises, 3 navigation and 1 main survival.. the first 2 navigation exercises was madness.. I have no idea how much we walked but it's probably the most I've ever walked in my life, it's crazy.. nomad was fine, explorer was the bomb..

we had to scale telugong on all 4s literally.. and finally hit Mount Biang.. If you ever think it's easy peasy, you're SO wrong.. Biang is just nuts.. it's takes forever to get up not to mention get down.. we lost our way so many freaking times but we still managed to become the first few teams for every excercise and eventually the first team to end JCC.. B07 rocked some socks! wild fruits were probably the only thing that got us going, Chempedak, Rambutans and Lukus.. awesome! hahahaha.. the pain from walking so much and the weight we had to carry, not to mention the pathetic food amount we had..

then came survival phase where we had to built our own shelter, trap and fireplace with all the little rods and spears as well.. my stupid site had so little resources it's amazing how I cramped up some shit to pass.. hahahaha.. I had monkeys for company through the 3 days as well but the smell of the jungle just irked me so much.. it kept giving me headache or probably it's just the lack of food.. fire at night was ALWAYS appreciated but RAIN just had to come every single day and night.. so maintaining a fire was hard but it was ok in the end i suppose.. the 8th night was our final night, we were given a live quail and a banana.. Never has a banana tasted like sushi to me and yes we had to kill to survive.. it was part of the assessment, so yup.. twist and pull and the head of the quail will be out.. it was rather sad for me but i guess it was an experience.. we also had to skin the poor birdie and clean it's innards and stuff like that.. the sickest part was that the heart would still be beating even after you rip open it's ribs.. total disgust.. let's skip the part where we had to skin the poor creature.. and I chose to boil my game and had a really good meal that night.. the bones was used to boil like soup 2 times thereafter and never has blood tainted hands taste good at the dining table..

our final morning took us into our final exercise back to base camp and it was the most fastest navigation my team has ever done.. we ended really quickly, way before the main body came in.. o man, we so rocked.. BRAVO 07!

R and R and R: the rest, the relec and the return..

R and R was seriously not very entertaining but I still had some fun here and there.. there was great food and some little shopping and I got a new pair of shoes again! hahaahah, i'm such a shoe freak.. it's a spiderman shoe hahahaah.. how retarded.. the return flight was the most painful plane ride I ever had.. the palne was small, and it was just rushed.. o well, i'm back safe and sound anyway.. was THE last cadet that left the airport being the cadet IC for lagguages.. o well, it's OVER! :D

BRUNEI HAS BEEN AN OUT OF THIS WORLD EXPERIENCE.. it's been crazy and i'm sleeping only 3-4 hours a day now.. it's been pain! but it's over :) got my JCC badge now and it'll be a memory.. now i'm free! first stop today, IT fair @ suntec so people LET'S GO OUT AND PLAY! :D

yea! book out! still keeps me going.. had a tough week in tekong outfield every single day.. glad i've survived :) this week has been the most painful week of NS so far but it's gonna get worse from next wk onwards when I fly off to Brunei.. finally I'm blogging again :) I'm left with so little time to myself ever since getting to OCS.. I guess it's a commitment we have to give to earn our rank.. life's tough, but we've to push on.. had a visit back to MI during some JC visit to OCS and I got to be charge to bring the year 1 students over.. cool.. got to see some students and stuff, nice.. what was embarrassing was the way Mr Singh had introduced me to the students BUT I like ;) this week has been torturous physically.. had our SOC test and some stuff.. it's probably the worse week in OCS so far.. to reward myself, brought my mum to Kushin Bo yesterday for dinner :) AWESOME!!!!! hahahahaa..

ever since enlisting into OCS, I've been stuck with this asshole we shall name CB here.. he's selfish, he's inconsiderate, he's messed up and F-ed up and probably the worse person I've met in life.. the fact is, I cannot escape him because he's in my platoon and I'm just gonna have to learn to work with my sad life.. DAMN!! just needed to complain.. I'm fated to be tested by this loser.. ever single activity and I can't escape him.. gonna have to learn to control myself since he's in my group for JCC.. it's gonna be a challenge and I'm gonna survive it to see myself through to the parade square.. gonna have another tiring coming week but I freaking sure it'll be more fun then last week.. last week was freaking torture.. thinking about it makes me shiver.. arh!!!

In camp for a week, I'm getting back to track.. the first few days had Gastritis according to the doctor, whatever that is.. hahaha.. Recovered just in time for my final IPPT woo hoo!!! life's not too bad now.. hopefully pro term will be much more fun :D

There's also the 'hero's girl' who's an ex-geek who's a weather girl.. I also like this little kiddo that's just too cute to be missed hahahaa.. It's such a funny show, and I love the scene where the giant gummy bears were attacking their little plane, if only we had gummy bears as hugh as those :D i'm giving this movie :

We caught the show in 3D so we could have food fall on our faces hahaha, way cooler that way :)

o ya, yesterday was the mid-autumn festival, nothing interesting.. didn't even went to grand's house like I usually would.. instead I was playing left for dead with shali and hilmi at cini :) fun yo! hahaha.. o ya, I have to freaking complain.. 3 times in 1 week I spent more then half an hour searching for a freaking cab in tiwon, what?!?

this morning/noon was spent at town with calvin.. have not met one of my best friend in ages! so finally, we had lunch at this place called The Hard Burger at Raffles City.. Nice place, nice food, I enjoyed the lemonade mint drink, one of their specialty drink, check it out! I've to freaking book in today, (yes finally) and pro term's gonna start, choos to the world!

ok! So here are the nicer photos that were in Chansey's cam since social night.. It was basically a night where we had to bring a date and Chansey came with yours truly and the night was history (literally) hahaha.. We were there on time and the rest were like freaking late due to major jams all over the island.. One of my platoon mate had to fork out $72 bucks just for cab.. poor dude HAHA :P then it was dinner time :) interesting food, not too bad but it was too little.. There was alot of time to mingle hence the pictures :) then there were performances and BEN (the guy in the last photo) did a fantastic job! YEA GO BEN!! The world's messed up! First there was sand, then there was wind, now there's water.. Quake tremors can even be felt here in SIngapore, that's seriously crazy.. They always report such tremors in Singapore but I've never felt it myself (sadly) haha.. Typhoon Ketsuna is crazy.. Hundreds dead, perhaps more :( Let's prey and hope things get better ;)

Life's been boring and I'd expect block leave to be more fun then what I'm going through.. Always changing appiontments with friends due to messed up timetables of school.. NS screws up your life! When you're free, the whole world isn't, and when the whole world's having fun, you're stuck somewhere pruning on the ground.. F1 night race returns! I tried to organise some sorta quebac platoon gathering which failed terribly hahaha, but still I guess I had fun yesterday playing card games and blah blah.. catching up made the night more intersting as well.. hopefully we'll have a more successful outing again :)

so today was an entire day at home (i'm so freaking bored due to this block leave so ppl ask me out!!!).. the night was rather interesting with F1 on tv.. which I was there but whatever, Hamilton won and I must say he's much more humble this year then he was last year.. Don't know why, it just seems that way.. After F1, was watching a special programme to showcase the F1 Rocks concert and it looked fabulous!!! damn it, I should have been there :X if it's gonna be this good next year, i'm so getting my ass there! F1 fever starts today! woo hoo, went out with my OCS platoon mates for an afternoon out, kinda to celebrate Elson's birtday as well hahaha, had great fun, especially with the waitress from New York New York at City Link Mall.. Something about 'Pussy shit' hahaha! After the so called outing, Mark Lui fetched Guang and myself home.. Went for a walk with taisho and came back to cook! it's been some time since I last cooked, and I whipped up a storm today! ok not that good, but still, I made really nice bacon,unagi and soba ;D I know it's easy peasy but still, I'm happy to have made them :)

It's a cold and wet Thursday morning.. The start of our block leave till the 4th, people call me out!! haha.. Anyway, didn't expect myself to be this sad that service has came to an end.. I know i'm suppose to feel really happy, but it's saddening that so many peeps are leaving our wing for artillery.. I've had surprisingly (think back) fun with this platoon even though I told myself to 'be average' in OCS.. Kudos to:

It's just sad that so many of them are leaving.. More friends from other platoons are leaving as well: Dexter (my ATT C friend!), Leonard, Vino, Jaren, John Tang (!!!).. Sure I'm not entirely close to everyone, but it's not entirely nice to see people you know (and probably like talking to) leave.. New cadets from Sierra wing came over including Justinn James! hahaha, now I can talk cock with him again :) my quebac platoon had our top 4 recruits all in Bravo now: Ben,Jon and Justinn and myself, how nice :)

I'll miss our runs at East Coast and the cohesions that always followed..

yippie another book out! This wk has been terrible but it passed :) was the live firing exercise PC and I was so freaking stressed up for the entire week.. thank god it's over! 5 missions, 5 times, 5 movements, same appiontment and all I got in return are cuts and bruises.. damn it! so glad it's over, block leave is coming sooooooon, i'm pumped! Had social night just this evening, hence this really late post.. Scorpion King no more!! WOo HOO!! I've just probably survived the toughest of service term, more to come in the next 2 and a half weeks before service term ends (YES!!) :) .85 will always be remembered, stupid knoll, stupid mud, stupid jungle.. all gone :) woo hoo! Yesterday was Charlie/Hotel's commissioning and we had duties as junior cadets, it's just nice to see them commission because it also means that our's coming soon :D but the whole freaking day was gone yesterday and i've to book back in an hour from now.. damn i hate book in-s.. see you'll next week :) It's elena's birthday today, HAPPY B-DAY!! ;)

Yes, that's my appointment for now.. I have no freaking idea what I ever did to be in this post for this term.. But o well, I can't complain or anything.. as my BMT platoon Sergeant puts it : Just take it like a man :S It's been a depressing week because my platoon mates keep saying that I"m not fierce enough.. But I really don't see a point to be 'fierce'.. hahaha.. o well, as long as I"m alive, it'll be fine.. Just had yet another week in OCC and we'll be moving into week 10 next week! woo hoo! (PS: Still no confinement ;P)Just came back from a cohesion with my Bravo platoon mates at the Airport.. and now i'm tired.. time to sleep.. might be heading to town to meet them tonight.. choos :)

O cool, finally, blogger's like back to it's old self.. Anyway, HAPPY NATIONAL DAY! 44 years, what a great number :) But this year, perhaps it's because I'm in NS or something, I don't really feel the national day mood or anything.. hahaha.. locked up in camp way tooooo much.. Anyway, another cousin's baby had her first month old celebrations today and I was there (d'oh).. There after was an afternoon-evening with my BMT mates :) Sean,Benjamin,Seekian,Weeyang and momentarily Louis and Jon.. Too bad the sispec-er can't be there cause they had to be in camp, hahahaha! Finally, the OCS-ers are having more fun.. HAHA! I miss these guys.. What a great day.. AND I jumped on a promotion and got a new pair of Flip Flops from NUM and also an IRONMAN shirt! woo hoo! hahahaha :D Later in the night was a durian session at Dempsey Road with my uncle and auntie and cousin and cousin baby, ok many other ppl.. I love durians :) tired tired, time for bed!

I love long breaks! 2 nights out and over and it's been a blast :) friday was spent with chansey,kim,mh,ts and calvin.c for a sushi/sashimi nights out.. it's always awesome!! :D I love the photo taking as well.. as always very fun :) it's been sometime since I've met them so finally we've met, how great! Also explored part of the new ION place in orchard, it's freaking cool.. It's comparable to Vivocity and I really like the foodhall.. and we saw Adam Chen.. He's not as big as I thought he'd be.. o whatever.. hahaha..

Couldn't sleep much (I guess it's my body routine now) so accompanied mum to the market on saturday morning.. it's been ages since I last went with her to the market, and all the little memories started flooding into my mind.. I've really came a looong way as a human being.. hahaha.. The night was dinner at Grandma's place in Holland and a movie, UP with caryn :) the movie was kinda funny but I was expecting more at times.. still it was a great movie, the same greatness you'd expect out of Pixar.. Awesome!

had a great night these 2 nights and had a conversation with Caryn about how far we've came as people in this society.. I really feel I've been through a lot in life actually, such that I've grown so so much.. O well, I can't really put to words what I really mean but anyway yay me :) Shali's gonna be gone for more races tomorrow/today, so ALL THE BEST :D (o ya, chocolate ice creams from Ben and Jerry's are the best!!) :D nighty nights ;)

hi once again :) had a really disturbed return to Bravo last week and now here I am booked out once again :) hahaha.. Booking out is always SO awesome.. What makes it even better is that a long section field camp just ended and we've got 4 nights of break.. woo hoo!! I'm getting use to life in OCS now and it's actually quite a fun place to be in.. It's not as depressing as it once was so I guess I'm ok now.. hahaha :D anyway, there're some changes to blogger such that I don't know how to use it anymore, maybe it's time I find some other alternate site.. I may just change my blog.. Time for fun!!

sick sick sick.. got attend C yesterday for 7 freaking days.. damn it! the worse thing is that I could be a H1N1 case.. how horrible.. BUT i'm feelin way better then i was yesterday :) temp yesterday was like 38.2.. For now, it's hovering around 36.8-37.4.. Hopefully I'll feel A-OK by tomorrow :) will be heading for a 10 day field camp from monday on.. see you all around!

Oh O Oh O, i'm OUT :) 2nd book out, feels awesome!

Just got back from HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE :)

AWESOME!!!! Caught it with Caryn, whom I had to ask to book the tickets hahahah.. selling like hotcakes.. and Emma Watson's smoking! O man, She's seriously hot ;P Because she's so hot, and the movie was actually great, i'm giving it:

It's missing half the star to be a perfect movie because I'm still missing some links from the show that I was kinda expecting.. But none the less, great show, BRAVO!

Last week, an update :) Xiao Han's Birthday and coincided with the first book out, grabbed photos from ww (thanks!) and it was a blast.. Dinner at Curry Flavour, and nights out at Timbre! I simply love that place, good band, nice atmosphere, and I simply love the Kamikaze Shots :P and pizza too!

SO if people are still wondering where the hell I went, it's OCS.. Got to stay confined for 3 weeks there.. and ya.. pretty much it.. I'm in Bravo Wing, so if anyone knows anyone else there can let me know ;) something interesting, the room I'm bunking in is actually Kubo's old bunk.. Freaking coincidence.. hahahah.. BLOCK LEAVE! It's awesome :) hahahaa.. So, Monday was a day at Gombak for some 'training' and dinner with Reactiv peeps, something which I miss.. Talking about that, I'd better get on to some exercise before I die at my next vocation.. Tuesday was a day out with Caryn, movie and shopping.. And we caught Land of the Lost:

I'm giving it 3 stars :) it was freaking hilarious but at points I kinda thought it was stupid.. but still, it's great ;)

Wednesday was my FTT day which I passed! woo hoo! hahaha.. easy pea-sy! :X now I've to decide when to apply for my PDL and proceed with lessons.. sweet! and the night was spend with Huimin,Kim and Calvin.C in orchard.. Bumped into Carrick and Ameer! HOO HOO! hahaha.. My first Secondary School friend, how nice to bump into them.. O, and we bumped into Kim's BF Nat.Ho! She's probably still dreaming now..

So the contractor for my place has finally arrived, was suppose to be here since Monday, to polish the flooring for the 2nd level.. and it's gonna be a busy day moving furniture up later.. time to move it, double up and scoot off :D

Since POP, I've been pretty much busy with getting the house ready and it's almost there! :) Wanted to go to the IT fair yesterday but had a really long time at IKEA instead getting furniture.. Gonna head there again along this week.. Went out with my platoon mates and with some MI friends since POP as well.. Awesome!

EVERYBODY SCREAMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's POP!!! :D

OK fine, POP was like 2 days ago, hahahaha! Late post late post.. Having a wonderful break now :) POP! POP! So freaking cool! Finally, there's a change from Recruit to Private :) so awesome! The freaking sun was so freaking hot during the parade and blah blah.. Had photos here and there but I've yet to upload mine from Mum's cam cause my house IS STILL IN A FREAKING MESS.. hahahah.. same excuse, but I super promise I'll upload the pics here asap :) anyway, I've been and still am sick for about 2-3 days already but I didn't report sick because I wanted to complete everything, in fact after the first 8km of our 24km route march I 'recovered' randomly and was on a high till the parade.. hahahah.. Magic, I'm thinking it's because of the Platoon flag which I had to hold up during the 2nd leg of the march.. hahahahahahah! BMT has been on a general note, fun-interesting-unforgettable.. Such memories are once in a life time, something we would wanna tell the next generation.. hahahaah, omg I immediately sound old.. but anyhow, POP POP POP! Love to thank all my buddies in camp and all my friends that made life easier during book out :D

It's such a freaking awesome song!!! hahahaha.. First heard it at recruits evening.. AWESOME!! Book out book out, final book out :) time flies, it's almost the end of BMT.. great :) First and foremost, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! to Shu Ming and Kim :D had a overnight slumber party at City Square to celebrate Kim's B-dae, how nice! hahaha.. So i'm freaking tired now since I had like minimal sleep since book out.. almost dead..LOL.. but it's ok, for my friends I would :P after Kim's party was a movie outing with the 4/1 peeps which I miss dearly! And to celebrate Shu Shu's birthday as well :) the movie was freaking long and I kinda slept a little segment.. hahahah but I understood the show ok! I'm giving it 3 stars but i'm too lazy to post up the stars :P we watched was State Of Play.. a freaking intellectual show... o gheesh, good night!

YAY! NUS has accepted me :) so the problem now is to decide if I should accept NUS or NTU.. But it'll be NUS :) better life there I think. so yup, gonna accept tonight :) and another problem that had me going for the past 2 weeks was the problem of signing on as a navy officer.. There is much to weigh but I've finally decided I'll not go for it even after so many rounds of interviews and whatever.. Even had long talks with FS Min Shan in Tekong hahahahha! I don't think I'll be able to appreciate waking up at fixed times and stick to fixed ways of doing things repeatedly.. So I guess, that's probably why I'm not signing on even thou the pay's good and stuff.. O well :)

This week's booking out has been fabulous! We got to book out on thursday night for some reason and I loving it ;D Yesterday had a great dinner night Mel and Shali.. Finally some catching up time! and Today was a day out at Sentosa with my mates from Quebac.. Nice.. I would have taken photos and whatever but o well.. I'm fugly since there was another haircut and my house is still in a MESS.. But the works are almost done from what I see.. Just the finishing touches here and there.. cool! can't wait :) POP is about 2 weeks away, 10th June to be exact.. How great.. With that BMT is gonna come to an end, it's been a blast!

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO CHANSEY :) had a blast yesterday with the B2 clique.. Tianshui, Calvin, MengHong,Kim and Chansey to be exact.. First up was an afternoon hanging around town with the Reactiv peeps.. but that didn't really lasted very long and it wasn't exactly a productive hang.. ahahah.. so moving on, went around town with chansey and kim before heading to town for dinner at Sushi Tei :) love it.. The rest of the night was spent chilling and eating at Timbre :) love that place.. and some f(ed)-up lizard jumped from under the table to my leg.. disgusting shit.. took loads of photos but they're not with me now.. so i'll load them up the next book out ;) booking in today again.. damn.. and HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO ERWIN as well :D

Dilemma

Even thou I'm in camp I still got news that Kris won! woo hoo! I thought he's better then Adam actually.. SO anyway, this week has been rather interesting in camp.. BMT is almost ending and it's been a blast ;) just got back from a KUSHIN-BO night out with some platoon mates.. kudos to Haoxun, Bronson, Jon, Justinn :D I've got no photos to post up because my house is still in a mess from the construction and I have no idea where my cam is plus I'm bald for now and fugly so no photos are allowed.. hahahahah.. BTW, my house is gonna be done soon! can't wait :D

I got my acceptance to NTU!! WOO HOO!! I finally got some form of acceptance to some uni, to NTU's sociology to be specific.. So my dilemma now is that I have to accept the offer by 1st June BUT I only had my NUS FASS interview TODAY.. so damn it.. I'm really stuck.. Can I accept the offer and later drop it if NUS does accept me? damn it, I hate such choices.. and NUS's interview today was rather weird.. my 1st question was: So why NUS over NTU? DAMN! Anyone to enlighten me?

How time flies, already half way of my BMT :) love it! this book out has been great, the whole week has been pretty kind, not too much pain.. hahahaha.. today saw myself hanging out with my platoon mates.. first up was STAR TREK! not a bad movie.. I'll give it

the story line was rather d'oh, but the action was kinda great and it's overall appealing i guess.. Dinner was at Lido and the rest of the night was spent at Timbre.. And today's band was damn awesome, they're called goodfellas or something like that.. cool.. great night, great mates.. and I think I drank a wee bit too much, time to lights off.. hahahah :D tomorrow book in 7pm,.. how 'awesome' :S

Yo all, I'm out ;) and I survived my first field camp from NS.. Great! It's been HELL, but it's been great knowing that I survived.. so ya hahahaha! WOO HOO! Imagine not bathing or even washing your hands for 6 days.. not shitting, and not eating properly.. sleeping in the wilderness.. It reminds me so much of Survivor.. hahahah.. I'm beginning to like NS in terms of meeting my friends there now.. It's like enrolling into a new school with new friends and stuff.. so ya.. Amazingness.. Anyway got a rescheduled NTU interview this tuesday so I'm really cite bout that because it also means I get to book out! mwah hahah! Today has been a Minds Cafe day out with the ex B2 peeps.. it was surprisingly fun, with nice Peach-Apricot drink.. Yummy!

Caught Wolverine today with Caryn but it's such a freaking dissapointment.. I was so expecting much more.. But i'm still staying a loyal fan of Marvel.. I'm giving this movie 3/5 simply because it's X-MEN.. I also bought a Wolvering poster for my new room :) so excited, my house has started renovation works since my enlistment.. My room is in a pathetic state right now, just like I am.. So ya.. I have to sleep in the living hall and I'm tired all the time.. hahaha.. Gonna be having a NTU interview next week but it freaking clashes with field camp, I'm wondering what to do?!? o well.. Time for bed.. seriously..
