Back to life, back to REALITY

Finally, I'm back to the real world.. Life's tough in the army, but o well, as they say suck thumb hahah.. The good part about this is that i get to make new friends and got to experience things that not many others will get to, afterall everyone leads a different life.. Some parts of BMT are actually fun.. The bad part, stupid sergeants and even worse commanders that think that they're some big shots.. They're not even good examples to recruits and they expect so much.. tsk tsk.. o whatever, SUCK THUMB! hahahha.. I'm in Quebac (apparently it's a white snowy owl) company so if anyone knows anyone else in there let me know :)

Blasts nights

Had dinner with my B2 clique yesterday night at PS.. But didn't take any photos so there's nothing much to talk about.. hahaha.. The usual peeps were there, Raynard,Tianshui,MengHong,Kim,Chansey and Calvin.. Had a fun night and my phone almose got ruined but thank god, it's fine now :)

Tonight, I was at the Clake Quey area, mainly Liang Court and Central.. So dinner was at this place:

It's a restaurant that serves Italian and Japanese food kinda place.. Nice :) What was the best was probably the freeflow of Calpis (or Calpico to some people) drink! It's some Japanese Yougurt Drink that we really love.. It tastes like Yakult, and who doesn't likeYukult?

From Escargot, to Gratin and Pasta, it was a fulfilling dinner :) Topped of with Calpis of course.. hahaha :D

Suspects of the night are clear: Rachel,Tianshui,HuiMin :)
and the shots kept coming.. the photo shots i mean..

Clake Quey is actually a very nice place to hang out and go lose.. Gotta head there more often.. haha!

Even toilet time of a comrade can mean some fun for the rest :) hahahahaah!

3 more days to my dreaded enlistment.. oooooooooooooo...

Chomping it down!

FChomp Chomp was the place to be last night :) and while waiting for our dear Lydd and KH to appear, we took some self timer snaps.. Doesn't QY look like an OL --> Old Office lady? hahahaha!

Then came the real deal, CHOMP CHOMP!

I have never been to that place before and it rocks! The food was good and the atmosphere was great :) great friends with great food makes it a great night ;)

Desert Bowl was next, all thanks to Lydd, we were introduced to this place which I happen to find cool! And the photos kept coming :)

Reading magazines like NAN YOU hahaha.. Funny name..

And the highlight: the heavenly deserts they serve.. It was awesome! Especially the Durian Puree.. It's so good you'll feel that you've left earth for a moment.. Seriously.. Go try it people! It's just around the corner from Chomp Chomp, somewhere in Serangoon.. So ya.. Haha, have fun :)

Today happens to be Good Friday as well as 清明.. so I went ,for the very first time, to my great grandmothers' tomb to 扫墓.. Learnt some stuff about my heritage actually..I found out she actually passed away while mum was pregnant with me.. and that my name (chinese name I think) was already fixed way before I was delivered.. Interesting.. My ancestors were from China (some part that conversed in hokkien or something like that), I think it was 3 generations before me that settled in Singapore, so that makes me pretty much 'new immigrant' in a way.. hahaha.. Great! Always good to find out about your background..

Experiment

I'm so super tired so I can't really blog about my fun night out.. But as promised this is my experiment on Squid Ink Pasta.. First impressions, it was tasteless --> the aftermath was horrible.. I had the taste in mouth for the next 5 hours or something.. Could even taste it during training.. It's colour was unappetising as well.. so ya.. hahahah.. It's an experimental failure.. but o well.. Will update on my fun night out after I get some beauty sleep :)

Last day of work

Had my last day of work yesterday and had some shopping during the day with Caryn! Meeting one last time before my enlistment..

Just looking at the food and we all know that we went to Shokudo!!! (yes yes once again) hahahah:D I had to had to have my mochi balls before I enter..

we ordered some Nabe porridge thingy and it was infested with spring onions.. gross.. But the porridge thingy is not nice.. seriously.. we didn't even ate 1/10 of it..

A little kinder joy was fun :)



And this Milk Tea rocks! It seperates the bubble tea kind from the real deal..

Shopping was next and I got a new pair of shorts :) my freaking belt broke while I was in the changing room.. retarded.. And a new pair of Adidas Sneakers.. hahahahha.. I've so many shoes already but I keep getting new pairs.. Gonna decide on throwing one out today ;)

It was our fun day out in Orchard getting our hair stuck on some sticky board.. HAHAHA :D

And taking photos with Wolverine! WOO HOO!

Then there was my last day at work :) I'm gonna miss working there, besides the fact that I've to rush down all the time and be consistently late for work, the people there are actually very understanding and nice.. They're a fun bunch, even the aunties.. Great experience :)

And according to my little book of superstitions, it's a good luck sign! YES!! It just happens to make me feel happy hahahaha.. I'm nuts.. Just cleared out my room to prepare for a renovation at home! We're gonna add another level to my house, F-I-N-A-L-L-Y! :D and i'm gonna get a bigger room.. It'll probably be done by june or something.. Will update here :)

A busy day..

Today has been a rather busy day.. starting with the 4th Allcomers! In case some people are wondering why the angry post previously, it's because I can't run for this race because I got injured 2 days before! That's sad.. But I had fun and I got to eat all my junk food.. which was nice.. hahahah! Especially the Rocky Road.. So everyone had a race but me! how sad.. but i'm over it.. There's still more races in the future ;)

Then had the all important SMU interview! hahahahah :D what a blast, made friends with some guy from HCI and another girl from ACJC who was also from GM.. cool.. we made friends amoung ourselves to get so that we were not too nervous ebfore the interview, it actually helps! hahaha.. gotta search the girl up on FB :P the interview was interesting, questions about MI and my family and also the main issue of my interest on Social sciences.. I think I really said quite alot of things that im not suppose to have said.. but o well.. PICK ME! hahahaha :D

So I finally met Jon since his enlistment.. He's still alive, in one piece, good.. hahah.. But he does not look normal anymore, no offence, it's the NS hair thing.. haha!

AND finally, I forgot the put this up: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ONE OF MY BESTIEs- SHALI :) He's already an old man.. Hitting the 2s.. soon it'll be my turn, but anyway, happy birthday!! :D it's been great having you around ;D
