OK, i don't know if I should be pissed or if I should be pleased..

Confused,Panic,in need of answers - there's news that NUS won't be considering MI students' H1 contrasting subject because it's not taken as the same year as the H2 subjects.. What a bummer! It's not even stated anywhere! There's no black and white that states that right?? I mean, they can't put 300 plus students at a disadvantage just because we didn't do it in the same year.. I mean, if this was not allowed, why did MI allow it? Or did MOE allow it? OMG! I need some someone to enlighten me! Does this mean that all future MI students will never get to go to NUS? Is this some form of discrimination against MI students?! HELP!!

Pleased,satisfied,hoping for something better - got a phone call from SMU!! Yay! hahaha, so i'm slated for an interview session this saturday! Yay! Got into my 2nd choice of Social Sciences but I really want to get into the Business programme though :S

My favourite to look out for now is definitely Gambit, he's probably the most hyped about mutant to appear on big screen.. After all, he IS the coolest mutant besides Storm :D CATCH IT WHEN IT'S AT YOUR NEAREST THEATRE!!

YAY! All done with my uni applications! So I'm really hoping that SMU will accept me because it's kinda my first choice school..I feel that the business school is the best in Singapore and they work with a 'project-based' kinda style which is definitely more realistic compared to the actual world SO I'm hoping that they'll accept me into the Business school.. So stressful and agonising just thinking about how my life is so dependant on other peoples' hands at this point in time.. WHY DIDN'T I GET ALL As?!?! damn it.. hahahah.. o well.. SMU Take me!

A need for a break.. take a kit-kat?

I'm so addicted to playing Word Challenge ,Geo Challenge and The Biggest Brain Game on FB now.. hahahah.. caused me to be late for training today.. damn it.. Anyway, have been busy applying for the 3 local universities.. *Rachel just asked me to watch Carebears* ANYWAY have already submitted my application for NTU and SMU.. Just gotta settle the NUS application tonight and probably send it intomorrow morning.. It's so troublesome, all these application.. but o well, if I don't do it, who will? hahaah.. It's been so long since I've had a weekend to myself.. Just slacking alone at home.. probably this weekend?

Mooovie: Street Fighter-The Legend of Chun Li

Tomorrow's Swift meet is cancelled so no race for me! haha cool.. so anyway, met Caryn today at Vivo after not meeting her for so long - she got into NUS Business School! hahaah congrats :)

Caught The Chun Li movie today and it's awesome.. The show could use a little more connections in between each scene or try to introduce the characters more.. and there's a good share of the characters, there's Chunli (d'oh), and Nash, Balrog,Bison,Xiang,Gen and Vega.. There's even Rose and Katana and the ADUKEN move! COOL! OK fine, I'm a little bias since I like such 'cartoon turned' kinda movies.. Still, I'm giving it 3 stars ;)

After the movie was dinner at Sushi Teh which was good.. always fulfilling, I love Japanese cuisine.. And some shoppping here and there.. Didn't had my Cam with me sadly.. but o well.. fun day! ;)

O god, just took a fb test and it says that I'm Chun Li.. WTF?!?

Anyway, got these from Candy Empire.. Rocky Road, it's like some chocolate thing with Mellows and nuts and jellies in em.. Sounds yummy! Gonna wait till I'm recovered from my cough before I'm gonna devour them hahaah..

Yesterday night saw my final 'adult' cousin married:) It's always nice to attend wedding dinners and wake up in the wee hours to go over to their place for all the other traditional ceremonial stuff.. cool.. I wonder when I'll find my future wife?

The usual 'wine pouring' ceremony which was followed by YUM SENGs..

Today was the postponed 400m races from the 3rd Allcomers which I had to run.. woke up late and had to rush down and hence did not complete my warm up but was in a stable condition to run.. hahahahaa.. legs feeling normal, cough is at minimal, and I'm alive now! I'm actually quite pleased with my first part of the race actually.. I've just recovered from my stupid stupid stupid injury, so no worries:) this weekend's race: will try to push a little more and see what I can make out of it.. hahaha.. Kinda lazy to post more about the Allcomers today so check out the 'Reactiv Blog' because I'll put up a post there :) AND after work today, I had 'dinner-supper' with my colleagues at Macs.. kinda made a bad decision because I could have made my cough worse and it could affect my weekend race.. but nvm, have no fear! hahahaha..

A great deal to blog

I'm suppose to have blogged yesterday but thanks to my stupid sister AGAIN, I'm unable to upload the pictures of the allcomers that took place over the weekend.. Damn it.. The weather didn't allow the 400m races to start at all so all races have been postponed to Thursday.. So I'll update it here then :)

Got a stupid injury today by slamming my heel against the ground (accidentally) during training today.. and I think I've busted my knee quite badly.. Hopefully it'll get better for my postponed race.. Fingers crossed..

Over the weekend, went to NTU and NUS on Saturday and Sunday respectively for the open houses.. So I've made my final choices for my applications.. It's just that all the application for all 3 Unis take so long so I'm gonna take some time to fill them up starting with NTU's.. Anyway, I've got to wait for my appraisal letters from 3 more teachers even though I'm rather certain I'm not going to get mine from Mdm Mesenas..

Talking about that, we (Shali,Jon,Rachel and myself) were back at MI to meet Mr Chua to collect my appraisal letter and bumped into Mdm Mesenas and Mrs Mayor, so I reminded Mdm Mesenas about my letter thingy and we parted.. After a few secs Mrs Mayor shouted for me to head back to where they were and I got scolded.. the conversation went:

M: 'Did you pass your GP?'
Conan: 'Yes'
M: 'Did you thank your teacher?'
Conan: 'Ya'
M: ' No, I didn't hear you!' , ' Ungrateful boy blah blah blah'

So i gave Mdm Mesenas a 'Thank You' and she looked really tired and not wanting to be part of this trash, so ya.. How dumb can this get.. SO we get the idea, it's so annoying that's she's always so kaypoh, even during my time in MI.. Sooner or later she's gonna get a complain from some parent since students nowadays are so pampered by their parents.. Besides I really do appreciate Mdm Mesenas help over last year and I thanked her during the release of the A level results.. SO what was wrong? damn, I just hate it when I get accused of something I didn't/did do..

O well, it's the past now, just hope I don't bump into her again.. So annoying.. Meeting Mr Honda and his wife (regular customers that always look for me) at work today (after not meeting them for some time) made me realised that there are nice people around :) They are good examples of what ideal customers should be, Pink Panther can take a lesson from them..But everyone is different and we're all bought up differently, so just live with it conan.. hahaha.. ;)

Friday the 13th: Rushed and ends in pisses

Just took a cab from Pasir Ris, the uncle kept insisting that we take the SLE instead of the PIE saying that it's gonna be jammed at this hour.. WTF! in the end, the cab ride cost $26.60.. Such luck on Friday the 13th.. It was an interesting ride thou.. The driver stays near my place as well and he even left his number with me so that when I'm heading for my BMT in the future he'll pick me.. O well.. He was the talkative kinda driver that asked a lot of questions and stuff.. so ya.. I took 3 fu*king cab rides today and spent like ten thousand dollars or something.. damn it.. I'm gonna live in poverty next week..

So what was I doing at Pasir Ris, it's Joseph's Birthday :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! It's was a fun night getting together with my training mates outside training time..

Earlier in the night was at Mount Sophia: Old School, I didn't even knew such a place existed, but it was kinda classy! I like that place.. It was Juin Lin's exhibition and we were there to check it out and show some love to our man.. Great Job! ;) I liked the photos.. Anyone who needs a photographer, please let me know! I'll get for you a good photographer :)

And then earlier today was a meeting of the 06B2 peeps (on Friday the 13th again!).. Don't even get me started on the long wait I had waiting for everyone to arrive.. Went to check out the IT Fair which was rather packed and I almost freaking got a Nintendo DS for $199.. Thank god I asked Jyss before 'consuming on impulse and making an irrational decision' :D

I've been dumb not to take pictures today, opps :X But since i'm on that, was walking around a supermarket earlier today and I questioned myself (I've asked this to Mel and Alfred before) : WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HAD KO KO KRUNCH? [or honey stars or whatever] I sound like 'i've lots of angst' today.. Must be the Friday 13th effect.. It's gonna be a busy weekend ahead.. Choos :)

Unpleasant

Listen up y'll! If you're rich and love to shop from a usual place, never ever be a bitch and let staff of that place hate you.. It's annoying that I got The Pink Panther today at work.. F**K man! She's soooo annoying.. She's always shopping from us and yet she's always creating trouble for us! What's wrong with her?! I can honestly say that I don't give bad service or unpleasant attitude to customers but she's freaking unreasonable! One day, I'm going to get back at her, I'll find some way! Stupid woman! She'll go, 'faster faster' [but she'll still take her own sweet time doing some other things later] OR 'why you pack like this?' OR 'I give you, already what'.. O god, So people, never be a bitch and always learn to treat people nicely, enough said.. damn this stupid woman, thank god most customers are NOT like her.. She's always talking to herself thou, perhaps, just maybe she's mentally unsound? o whatever, be gone!

After work was a pleasant time spent with Jon and Jyss (long time no see/chill!).. and had a pleasant time catching up @tcc cafe where Jyss works :)

first freedom - Moovie: The Watchmen

It's the first weekend as a freeman from the stress of the As.. In the morning went for training to make up for missing it for 3 days in a row..

Afternoon was spent at SMU's open house and I've found out information that I need.. I really hope to get into SMU Biz for now and I think/hope/wish that I may just make it..

Evening was work time and the night till now was time spent watching WATCHMEN and hangin out in town with Hilmi,Blank,Juinlin,Wynner.. NICE :)

The movie was great except for:

1: The blue cock that kept appearing, it's just too blue
2: The hot chick also having sex with an ugly guy
3: The blood spilling, it got really gross when some guy's arms were severed off

But besides that, I've giving it:

A beginning from an end

After an agonising wait, finally we're here! It's been a torture just waiting for today and finally I can let my worry rest :)

It's an all Bs affair for me with 3Bs for all my H2s and a freaking E for my GP!!! I have no idea how i got an E and i'm pissed about it so it's a bitter sweet kinda victory for me today. AND I don't have a single A which could/might/may put me at a disadvantage. So my finall grades spells BBBBEAE.. O well, a chapter has ended and a new one is about to begin. It's application time and I really have no idea what to choose and such. Wanna try SMU Biz, NUS FASS and prob Comm studies at NTU. O man, these are my wants so hopefully it'll be my final choices.

O well. YAY! :) glad it's over ;) congrats to all who fought hard and won this super-duper battle..

Ministry: A-Level results out on Friday

The results of the 2008 Singapore-Cambridge GCE A Level examination will be released on Friday said the Ministry od Education yesterday. Students can obtain their result slips from their respective schools from 2.30pm that day. Private candidates will get their results through the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board website (http://www.seab.gov.sg) from 2.30pm on Friday too. They will also be notified of their results by post.

Reactiv Outing - SMU Waikiki 2009

Yesterday was a Reactiv outing to Sentosa as well as SMU's Waikiki 2009 :) Siloso was totally bought down by SMU students and the place was rocking! I just love Sentosa :) Too bad the weather didn't hold, it started turning bad at about 1630.. Still we had fun and I had my little tan.. hahaha..

The place was totally like a club!

The rain had the organizers start a game called: Root Beer Boat Race which I almost had to play..

and there was free beer and free drinks, free fun, free everything! :D had a little too much beer thou.. hahaha.. hence the post now and not yesterday..

Hope to go to SMU soon after my results this Friday ;D

Today was an interesting Sunday.. Bought this book from Kinokuniya :)

Saw this book quite some time ago but only got it now, it's very-super-really interesting unlike your conventional superstition books.. I'm not a superstitious person but this book got me captivated at how our daily lives are actually filled with so many omens and signs.. and! bumping into Edward Teo from AES who was working for M1 at their roadshow, I had to give some 'friendship face' and did something quite embarrassing! I had to act as some director and had to talk through some giant funnel that directors use and this was all recorded in some camera! damn it.. imagine doing that along Orchard.. Thank god there's the economic downturn or there's gonna be more people in Orchard!
